I remember first getting the CD and listening to "You're My Favorite". This song can be so meaningful for so many people for a variety of reasons. For me, it made me think of my grandfather. I remember getting to his house and letting him listen to the song. He said, "Now that's easy on the ears". My grandfather passed away almost three years ago and I miss him dearly. Every time I hear that song, it reminds me of him!

I first heard you do this song live at Coyotes in Augusta, Ga. I fell in love with the song that night. I bought the CD and have just about worn it out.
I met the man of my dreams about 2 years ago, and fell head over heels in love. He is a great man, and he plays guitar and sings, so of course I have played this song for him over and over. Everytime I hear it now, it reminds me of his unconditional love for me! Thanks for giving me such a wonderful song!

I have LOVED your song "You're My Favorite" since I first saw you at NC Tarheel Opry House. I am glad you are releasing it as a single because not only is it a great song, but it has so much meaning to most people that hear it.
I met and married my husband later in life (in our 30s). After 16 years of marriage, we have done many things and spent much time together. So many great memories for us! Your song brings back those memories and reminds me there will be many more. Each of them is special. Though, after a while of being together, we feel very comfortable with our life together, your song reminds me to cherish those memories and to make sure I let him know often that he will ALWAYS be MY FAVORITE!

Ok so I remember watching you every chance I got when I worked at ameristar casino here in kansas city- and yes thinking wow he is cute lol . I had stopped working there but since I had become a humungo fan I checked when you would be back in the lovely caberet bar, I came in with friends for my birthday and you played your my favorite for me for my birthday and sang happy birthday after. That was the best night I bought your cd's that night and have been a bigger fan since. You were so sweet and I hope you remember me- I was the crazy girl turning 26 i think then with a tiara on.

On top of my story with my husband dedicating that song to me because he said I changed his life I played that song over and over while I was pregnant with my daughter and your my favorite calms her down and puts her to sleep so I play that song on her nap times and bed time it's our family song Thank you Jason :-)

This song was a favorite of mine when I first heard it! It's one of those songs that makes you stop and think! I don't have a "special" story per se, but I have had my family/friends listen to the song as a possible wedding song. I absolutely love the version with the piano! I am so excited to hear this be the next single and will do my part to support that!

This song is truly gotten me through so much. I heard this song when you played in Kansas City a few times. My boyfriend and I absolutely fell in love with the song. We were getting ready for him to start a bunch of trainings to prepare to deploy to Afghanistan. We listen to the song together and apart and it gets us through the tough times of being apart. I listen to this song and it reminds me that we can get through anything. He has been in Afghanistan since this summer and will be returning in the spring. We still have awhile to go, but this song reminds us of why we push through the challenges. You have truly blessed our lives with this song and have reminded us of what love is each and every day. I have been listening to this song since it was a piano version and I was so glad to hear the guitar version so Jason could start doing it at his shows. Since I have listened to it so many times, I have found a deeper inspiration for the song, I think. All of the things listed in the song are gifts from God; ability to write songs or books, create movies, the beauty of a sunset, snowfall or a starry night. The greatest gift from God is Jesus, so, I see Jesus as "My Favorite". The clinching line is in the chorus, "You're my savior, you're my grace." And believing Jesus is our savior puts a smile on our faces and Jesus's love makes our heart jump out of our chests. I don't mean to stand on a religious soapbox but that is what You're My Favorite means to me. Oh, I think it needs a third verse about God's other great gifts as well, whickey, Miller Lite and Tequila.

You're my favorite is definitely one of those songs that will forever tug at my heart strings. About 2 years ago, I lost my uncle to a 7 year fight with lung cancer. To commemorate his life and all the people who lives he touched, our family made a slideshow that was played at his wake and his funeral. You're my favorite was the final song of the slide show, and we had a number of people ask about it afterward. I cannot hear that song today without thinking of my uncle and the special relationship that we shared.

I can't tell you how helpful this will be to the whole process of "setting up" a single release. I really appreciate you guys sharing your stories!!!

I absolutely love everything about this song. The first time I heard it I was at Herrin Fest in Herrin Illinois with my daughter. She's my favorite person in the whole world. Jason said that his mom was his favorite person. "You're My Favorite" is one of those songs that touches the heart of everyone who hears it. The first time we heard Jason perform this amazing song, he was alone on stage, just him & his guitar....it was perfect! We were immediately sold on this young man's talent! When we finally got the original cd home, Gary & I danced in the kitchen to sweet sound of Jason singing this song! I want to thank you again Jason, for dedicating this song to us when we were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary! "You're My Favorite" will always have a special place in our hearts!

I first heard "You're My Favorite" online when I decided to check out who Jason was before the Dierks Bentley concert at Purdue University a couple years ago. It quickly became one of my favorite songs, even before hearing it in person! I was so happy to hear him sing it at the show. Most new artists haven't caught my attention the way Jason did that night. I think "You're My Favorite" is one of the most emotional songs I've heard. Everyone can relate to this song. I talked with Jason after the concert that night about how for each person, this song has different meaning. This song has made me want to find that "favorite" person, the "best" person for me. It's a huge reminder to me of what love really should be. This song was so motivating to me after going through a major breakup not long before hearing it. It made me realize that the right person is out there, and that I want to find a person that makes me feel the emotions described in the song. Hearing the song at the concert made me immediately decide I needed to buy one of Jason's CDs at the merchandise table so that I could continue to hear "You're My Favorite" whenever I wanted. After the concert, I literally played this song every day, multiple times a day for weeks. To this day, I turn this song up loud when I play it. I can't help but sing along with it every time. The emotion in Jason's voice provokes it! In conclusion, after writing a novel about how much I love this song, I think it's a great choice to use it as the next single. Jason is a standout artist, and I can't wait to see where this will take his career!

This song has a number of AMAZING memories for me! I fell in love with it the first time I heard you sing it at the Tarheel. You're my Favorite was the reason i started buying your CDs and just the other day I sent it to my boyfriend and he also fell in love with it. It's now "our song". I will never forget all the times i've gotten to stand/dance right infront of the stage watching you sing this! I can't wait to hear it on the radio!!!!

My husband dedicated your my favorite to me when we first got together because he has a bad past and meeting me made him want to change his life and he did change his life we have been married for almost a year and have a beautiful one month old daughter!!!! This song is pure MAGIC! The first time I heard it was at a show in Joplin, MO and just hearing the first few notes of the song, it caught my attention. It was THIS song that made me decide to buy the cd. As the song played out, I drifted off for that 3 or 4 minutes of time, and it made me feel like I was living out a fairytale. Every girl wants to feel like she's Cinderella and this song sure does make you feel that way. It's just that kind of song you just want to hear over and over. It always makes you feel special, no matter what's going on. This song has the ability to make a girl like me who has been married for 14+ years, go right back to the beginning and give you that feeling like she is falling in love for the first time, all over again. I've been waiting a long time for a song like this to hit the radio! This song is gonna go STRAIGHT to the top! Country music has really been lacking in these great "wanna get married to songs". Country music has needed a guy like you with your style!! I am PROUD to be a fan! Thank you Jason!!!

We passed it along to our DJ as one of our anniversary dance songs. She has added it to her list of suggestions for other couples in the st louis area. It would be a shame if the wedding DJs were more up on the popular songs than the radio stations!

My parents first saw you preform at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, my Dad bought one of your CDs and we all fell in love with the song You're my Favorite, along with all of your others of course! My Dad chose You're my Favorite as the song we danced together to on my wedding day this April. So many people asked about the song because they thought it was so amazing. I love this song and would be so happy to have it shared with the rest of the world who wouldn't hear it otherwise. Right now it feels like a well kept secret. This is my first dance... It's just about the first thing my fiance and I were able to agree on for our wedding planning process. Heard you in Billings for the first time this summer and "You're my favorite" gave me goosebumps. Can't wait to hear it on the radio! :)
