What’s New???
Woo Hoo! I'm off to a good
start here in '07, lol. Second month of the year and
second newsletter! Well, 2007 truly is off to a great
start. All the January gigs were a whole lot of fun.
It's always a good feeling to get back out there playing
with the band after having a little time off for the
holidays. And all of the gigs have been going very
well so far. If you read my most recent blog on my
MySpace
you saw that we had what I consider to be the most
fun we've ever had down in Macon at Whiskey River.
Plus, it was probably the most exciting because of
the label people coming down to see us play.
Speaking of which, I know
I was rather vague when I said we had label folk coming
out to the gig last week. Well, I did that because
not only did I not want to get my own hopes up too
high, I didn't want to get anyone else's hopes up
too high either. However, I'm not totally sure what's
gonna happen over the next couple of weeks, but I
do know I'm having lunch with them all next week and
chatting about....I don't know for sure, but we're
chatting about something so that's a good thing, lol.
So if you were into the whole crossing your fingers
and toes thing last week, feel free to keep it going
this week too! I'll let you all know as soon as I
know something. Each one of my successes are just
as much of a success for you guys too.
On another note, you may have
noticed the link on my sites for the new c.d.! No,
it's not completely finished yet, but it's on the
last leg for sure! I was in there today finalizing
a couple of things and have to finish up a some stuff
this weekend, but it should go into duplication by
the end of next week. So I wanted to go ahead and
put up the link for it now. Please feel free to go
ahead and place your orders now, and as soon as I
get them back I'll be heading down to the post office
to ship them out. I can't wait!!! Thank you all for
hanging in there with me. I think 2007 is gonna be
a big year, full of many blessings! Let's keep this
ride going on and on and on....
