What’s New???
Hey everybody! I hope this
newsletter finds you well. Me and the guys have been
tearing it up on the road so far this year! I don't
remember ever being so busy. And every week in town
has been slammed too; from writing appointments to
label meetings, studio time and meeting with booking
agents, there hasn't been time for much else! It's
been really great though. All the little pieces are
starting to connect and I'm getting excited about
making another record with the WB imprint on it! Again,
I will do my best to keep you updated on the happenings
with all of that.
On my MySpace
profile I have a new feature called "Demand it!"
If you haven't used it before now, please swing by
and check it out! All you have to do is click on the
button that says "Demand it!", change the
city to your city, fill in the blanks with your info.,
and you will have just demanded me to come play in
your city! You don't have to sign-up for anything,
nor do you have to have a myspace account. This is
a very usefull tool for two reasons: 1) It helps us
to get booked in cities by showing club owners and
agents that we already have fans in the area, and
2) It gets us (back) into a club near you! So like
I said, please stop by my profile and "Demand
Me!"
The shows we've been doing
so far this year have been nothing less than awesome,
but I'm really excited about some of the things we
have coming up next month. April 11th we'll be playing
in Lenexa, KS, at the Lenexa Community Center. This
is a benefit started by some of our fans to raise
money to support research and help people living with
Multiple Sclerosis. It's a great cause and it's gonna
be a great time, so put it in your calendars and tell
your friends! Seats/tickets will be limited so please
contact the venue a.s.a.p. to get yours today!
I will also be sending out more information to help
you in purchasing those tickets soon.
The next day on April 12th
we'll be heading over to play that night at one of
our new favorite venues, Cruiser's Nightclub.
But before we do we'll be participating in another
great cause called "Hunting and Fishing for
a Cure". This one is a benefit for cancer
and is going to include some great performers, such
as Rhett Akins, and some other awesome talent as well.
So please come out and support BOTH of these
benefits if you can! Together we can make
a big difference in others lives.
I had the chance to sing a
couple of songs for another benefit called "Child
Safe" yesterday before we played at Cruiser's
later that night. This is a great organization that
helps abused children with whatever needs they might
have, as well as home placement. I have to say, I
am just thrilled to be able to be a part of these
kinds of charities whenever I can and use my talents
for the benefit of others. I wll do it every chance
I get, and I look forward to doing many, many more
in the future!
