What’s New???
     I’d say the newest thing right now is this year, so Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. I spent my Christmas in Georgia with my mom, sisters, nieces, nephews, etc., and I was at my dad’s place in Florida for New Years Eve. It was good times let me tell ya. The only bad thing about it was that it was 79 degrees that day and we had a huge bonfire that we couldn’t really enjoy! Oh well, you win some you lose some I guess.
     I left Florida on New Years Day to drive back to Nashville. Everyone thought it was a bad idea but the traffic was nice and smooth. I had a whopping two days in town to get caught up on whatever needed to be done at home and had to turn right back around and head back to Georgia to play for four nights! But that’s quite alright though; I do enjoy traveling and going to new places a lot. We played at a place called Whiskey River down in Macon. It’s a pretty cool club. From what I hear they have the second biggest dance floor in Georgia! If you’re ever that way you should stop in and check it out. They’ve got a comedy club right next door too, so you’re bound to have a good time. I also stayed in my first ever “band house” on this trip. They actually have a house down the road from the club that the bands stay in. It was pretty cool, but I think I like the hotels better; there’s just a little more privacy. It was nice having a fridge and a microwave and a stove though. We all pitched in on groceries and took turns cooking and doing dishes.
     So that’s the start of my New Year! I’m looking forward to an even busier year than last year, and I can’t wait to see each and everyone of you again!
