What’s New???
Hello, hello, it’s time for
another newsletter from jasonjonesmusic.com!
Things are pretty good here. I just got back from
Kansas City yesterday. We left right after the show
Sunday night around 2:30 a.m.; I still feel beat.
We had one of the best weeks ever in K.C. I saw a
ton of familiar faces at the shows all week and especially
Friday and Saturday night. I tell you what, they’re
not afraid to do a little partying up there! And what
really made the week great was the fact that we were
the first band to ever get an encore at the casino
(!!!), which happened Saturday night. So, thank you
so much to everyone for making me and the band feel
like rock stars!
The rest of the shows last month went well, too. I
finally got to take the stage again in Valdosta, Georgia,
and that was a blast. We’ll be heading back
there in a week and a half to do it all over again
and I can’t wait. The Bullseye shows went great.
Lots of fans came out to help show the label people
that I already have fans, which I think is a good
thing when you’re considering signing someone
to your record label. However, still no record deal
yet. But, there’s been a lot of good communication
back and forth, and I’ve got more meetings coming
up. So don’t uncross your fingers just yet if
you had ‘em crossed! It’s a long, grueling
process. I’ll keep you informed as it all moves
along.
If you saw the news on the site last month about me
getting a Taylor guitar endorsement, you’re
probably wondering where the pictures of the guitar
are… Well, I haven’t gotten it yet! The
anticipation is slowly killing me, but I did find
out that it was shipped three days ago and I should
have it this week. I have one word to describe how
I feel: yee-haw!
Well, I think that’s about it for now. I hope
this letter finds you well and happy. See you soon…
