What’s New???
So, I went through the calendar
for 2004 and counted over one-hundred shows for the
year! I think that’s pretty good for not having
a record deal yet. Just wait until the deal comes
along; that number’s going to double at the
very least and I can’t wait! And speaking of
shows, I played in K.C. at the beginning of November
and had one of the best weeks there. Every single
night there were people there to see us, again, and
Saturday night finished out with the first ever encore
that bar has ever had! So I’ve gotta send a
shout out to the fans up there; you guys rock! I just
played the Bluebird the other night and I have to
say that it was probably the best writer’s round
I have ever been a part of. It included Amy Chappell,
Sean Patrick McGraw, Jennifer Dixon, and of course,
me. All three of the other writers are great singer/songwriters
and I think you should definitely look them up and
have a listen when you get a chance.
Well, there’s not a
whole lot new right now. The year’s been winding
down nicely for me. I’ve mostly been writing
and I just recorded some more songs for my publisher
last week. It’s kind of nice though with all
the travel planning and shopping that’s gotta
be done! I haven’t even gotten started yet,
but I’m sure I’ll be like the other millions
of people who decide to get it all done this weekend.
Anyhow, I hope everyone has a great Christmas break
and safe travels. I look forward to rocking out with
everyone again in 2006!
