What’s New???
Well, another month has gone by and it's time for another newsletter! Let me start by saying thanks to all the folks down in Macon, GA, for making that such a fun gig to play. Whiskey River's the name of the club and yes, it definitely lives up to it's name! We had a great time and look forward to heading back down there in July.
Now I know that some of you may be wondering about these recent cancellations in my show schedule, but I assure you there's nothing to be worried about. Rumor's in Valdosta has gone through a change in ownership, along with remodeling, and we're scheduled to go back to 8 Seconds Saloon in June. And if you haven't noticed, we won't be going to Arkansas to play at Club West this coming weekend. That one has to do with some contract discrepancies, but no worries, we'll get it all worked out well ahead of time next time. I've already got some ideas on how to keep these things from happening so hopefully there won't be anymore cancelling going on for the rest of this year. I apologize if anyone was planning to go to one of these shows and it messed up your plans. Please forgive me! One day, and hopefully one day soon, these things won't be a problem at all.
I hope everyone has made it safe and sound through this last batch of bad weather we had. All is well here with me, but there are some areas around Nashville that got some major damage from tornados and hail. I know that money doesn't grow on trees but if you have some to spare be sure and visit www.redcross.org to help out the victims of those storms. There's some more new stuff to talk about, but I decided to give it it's own section, so see below. Hope to see you out on the road or in Nashville soon!

Take care and keep in touch,
Jason

A Few Changes...
As most of you know, Gwen Sebastian sings background vocals in my band and has been doing so for the last three years or more. And you also know how great of a singer she is. However, you may not know that Gwen has recently decided to branch off and start performing her own songs/shows, and to continue performing with Breakaway. This saddens me deeply, but I'm very proud of her and I hope that you guys and girls will continue to support her in all of her endeavours. Louis (our drummer) will be spending most of his road time with Gwen, and Jason (our bass player) will be back and forth. Now John (our guitar player) will be absent from my group, Gwen's group, and Breakaway. He has recently taken a job with Carrie Underwood and will be working for her pretty much full time.
All of this is a little difficult for me because not only have we all been playing together forever, we've also become good friends. But with any luck, Gwen and I will most likely get to do some shows together in the future and who knows, maybe we'll all have a reunion show one day! Also, I assure you that not only will you be seeing all of us on the road somewhere, all of us will also be surrounded by musicians and singers of the same caliber you've come to expect from us. Thank you so much for your understanding and support. You can find out about Gwen's happenings through www.gwensebastian.com and John's at www.johnzocco.com.
